The original mission of the CAST framework was to provide proponents, designers and developers of AI-based solutions with an actionable set of design heuristics and patterns that allow bridging the gap between experimenting and engineering by up-skilling their architecture and turning the potential of Smart Technologies into well-engineered and responsibly designed solutions, which create actual business and social value.

this project is an opportunity to develop it further and take into account how implementation of AI based solutions affects:

1. Workers’ job quality, trustworthiness, inclusiveness, health and safety in the workplace;
2. How workers and employers can prepare and better design dignity in work environments.
